Photographer Carli Davidson was inspired to create this beautiful and heartwarming series after seeing a German Shepherd in a wheelchair playing happily with its owner. According to Carli, “It was so happy, a dog doing what dogs do, totally undeterred by its disability. I felt inspired by the whole scenario. The owner made this choice out of love, to do a little extra work every day to make sure his friend was happy and comfortable.

It’s National Disabilities Awareness Month! We have a special episode of Sesame Street airing tomorrow featuring Brandeis, who is learning to be a service dog for people of differing abilities. Tune in tomorrow to meet him!

This reminds me just how awesome Sesame Street is and how sad it would be if they lost funding. I’ve been brainstorming this and I think I have a solution.

This is the new Gerald R. Ford class supercarrier.

They plan on building about 11 of these. Each one costs 9 billion dollars. What if we made one of them a little shorter? Maybe they could just not build the tip. An aircraft carrier circumcision of sorts.

That’s like a billion dollars right there and I don’t think the Navy would miss it. It will be easier to clean and the ladies would find it more attractive.

Shit like this is why sometimes I stop caring about economic equality and really have a good wet dream about being one of the 1%.
